Hello all!
Here's a piece I just finished for our sister site, she requested a leather stomacher with a celtic design as the last leathercrafter made them originally and they tended to look like shields instead of a garment.
This is being shipped off to her and she'll create the rest of it.
Made from 10 oz leather, branded design, hand dyed, painted and outlined then coated in resolene for shine and protection.
Now, I need to gear up to make the Yuna wedding dress from Final Fantasy X, and the Pastel Lake Gown Amidala wears in S.W. Ep.2.
Hope you're all doing well, and it's nice to see such gorgeous work you're all doing!

The art of leathercrafting is a difficult one in itself, put to add such intricate and gorgeous Celtic designs makes Embossed Leather Stomacher by ~shadowduchess is a a lovely and working example of the craft. (Suggested by `youthculture and Featured by $chix0r)

Wow, it's lovely... Does it preform similarly to a corset, minus the steel and the hourglass figure, or is it more like a very stiff shirt?
(sorry for the random questions)

Pfffff, knees are for the weak.

*beams* thank you!
Yes, it's similar in function to a corset. Many were jewelled, beaded or embroidered cloth with girdle type properties but, with how thick this leather is when they lace up they'll feel it across the front.
Please, ask away I don't mind!
